RSPB Birds Magazine - product review: This is clever and impressive. An mp3 player coupled to a scanner, incorporated in a handy ‘pen’, has top-quality recordings of bird calls, songs and identification tips, instantly activated by pointing the ‘pen’ to small coloured circles. These appear in a simple field guide with Mike Langman illustrations (reproduced at very high quality), useful for the beginner, and on a waterproof card with a simple bird list so that you can quickly play what you want by pointing at the relevant spot. Best of all - the really clever bit – tiny peel-off stickers with micro-dot codes can be stuck on the pages of your favourite field guide, to make it an interactive book and sound system. If you use earphones, you can listen to the birds in complete privacy with CD-quality reproduction. You can even add your favourite music to the mp3 player if you like. It is a great little package. “Fantastic - Congratulations!” Epping
“Many thanks for the very prompt delivery of my order.” Camberley
“My first impressions of the product have been very favourable, since it does everything claimed for it. It is the only audio system really suitable for use in the field since individual species can be found and compared swiftly without bulky tape machines or books. Since spoken information is not, as in some tapes and CDs thrust upon one without choice, I have grown accustomed to it an refer to it more than I thought likely. The simplicity of the system also makes it a pleasure to use indoors for reference purposes. I expect that I shall use it in conjunction with “The Collins” via the stickers provided though its own field guide (organiser) is quite serviceable.” London
“Having owned the BirdVoice pen & associated products for just over a fortnight now, I have to say I'm delighted and consider this the most exciting thing to have happened within our hobby for many years.” NE Lincolnshire
“I have been taking the BirdVoice out on my wildlife photography field trips, and it is proving to be an extremely valuable tool. When I am at home I listen to the recordings on a small speaker system and the clarity is excellent. I am finding myself far more 'tuned in' to the bird sounds around me now, and people I have shown 'BirdVoice' to, have expressed a big interest.” Baldock
